Shaker Hanging Shelves View Larger Image Constructed from fine locally grown Cherry, these hanging shelves have been adapted from an original in the Andrews collection. The mellow tones of the timber have been accentuated with a traditional shellac finish, which will enhance any interior, either contemporary or period.
The shelves themselves are housed into each upright section using a sliding dovetail joint, (click on view larger image for close-up)making assembly and dismantling really easy. This is especially useful when moving or storing, Movement in use is prevented by a single screw at each end. These dovetail joints also add a subtle yet powerful visual statement that sets these hanging shelves apart, denoting traditional hand crafting and quality.
